Tujuh Saat Pertama
Saya sedang membelek sebuah buku tentang kehebatan 1001 lagu yang pernah diterbitkan di 'Popular Book Store', AEON Taman Equine sebentar tadi. Tanpa diduga terselit akan sebuah lagu yang pernah saya minati kira-kira 15 tahun yang lalu ketika saya masih belajar. Tajuk lagu tersebut ialah '7 Seconds'. Lantaran itu... tiba-tiba terbuka hati saya untuk membuka 'label post' baru yang berjudul 'Songs for Life Time'. Dan lagu ini menjadi lagu pertama...
"7 Seconds" adalah lagu yang dicipta oleh Youssou N'Dour, Neneh Cherry, Cameron McVey dan Jonathan Sharp. Dikeluarkan sebagai 'single' oleh Youssou N'Dour menampilkan Neneh Cherry dan menjadi hit antarabangsa yang hebat pada tahun 1994. Ia kekal berada di dalam carta lagu selama hampir setengah tahun dan mencapai kedudukan tiga di puncak carta lagu di banyak negara seperti England, Perancis, Jerman, Itali, Australia, Rusia dan Poland. Single ini menduduki tangga No 1 selama 16 minggu berturut-turut di Chart Jomblo Perancis (yang merupakan pemegang rekod sebagai lagu paling lama menduduki puncak carta bagi tahun 1994). Lagu ini dimuatkan di dalam album Youssour N'Dour's yang berjudul Wommat. Pada tahun 1996, Neneh Cherry memasukkan lagu ini di dalam Album beliau yang berjudul 'Man'.
Lagu '7 Seconds' ini dinyanyikan di dalam tiga (3) bahasa: Youssou N'Dour menyanyikannya di dalam Bahasa Wolof (Bahasa Rasmi Senegal) dan Bahasa Perancis (ditambah paduan suara bersama neneh Cherry di dalam Bahasa Inggeris). Sementara Neneh Cherry pula menyanyikannya di adalam Bahasa Inggeris.
Menurut Neneh Cherry, '7 Seconds' adalah tentang 7 saat pertama yang positif dalam kehidupan seorang anak baru lahir di mana mereka tidak tahu tentang masalah dan kekerasan (violence) di dalam dunia kita. Hebatkan intipati lagu ini?

This is such a brilliant song that make you cry. Maher Zain is such a phenomenon. Basically he has all the package to make it big in the industry. InsyaAllah is almost a perfct song that blend together between the melody, the lyrics & the voice of Maher Zain. If you think that the studio version is great, try listen to his live version. It is even better. This is one of very few song that you'll fall in love to the very first time when you listen to it. And i have to doubt to announce that InsyaAllah is the No 1 song for JaseBoard International Chart for 2010.

OMG !!! Ush made it AGAIN. After few of his Singles from Here I Stand 'kurang menjadi', OMG Strikes Back !!! When I first listen to this song I can' believe that it is Ush's song. It is so techno, so house and so dance. Doesn't matter whether you are Ush fan or not. Surely you will like this song. The collaboration with will.i.am is also a right choice.

It is also nice although it failed to make it in the top 10 for UKTop 75 Official Chart this year. After being away from the industry for almost 2 years, Shayne come back with new album 'Obsession'. Surely there will be more single next year.

Masa mula-mula dengar lagu ini memang saya kata lagu ini macam lagu kitar semula. Bukan sahaja melodi; tetapi lirik dan juga suara penyanyinya Alyah. Semuanya seperti begitu 'out dated'. Tetapi dek kerana selalu sangat di udarakan di corong-corong radio akhirnya lagu ini melekat di hati saya. Bukan itu sahaja, saya juga mengambil kesempatan untuk menukar lirik lagu ini menjadi lagu hari raya untuk persembahan Radio Malaya kami !!! Maka Juara JaseBoard untuk 2009 jatuh kepada Tak Mungkin Kerana Sayang...
02. Sujud (Mawi AF3 feat KRU)
Awal tahun ini Mawi muncul dengan sebuah album yang masih lagi berunsurkan ketuhanan. Salah satu lagu yang betul-betul 'catchy' dengan kolaborasi yang 'unsangkarable' ialah Sujud yang menampilkan Mawi bersama adik beradik KRU. Wow !!! Memang mengancam betul. Klip Video lagu ini jugak boleh dibanggakan.
03. Benar Benar (Adam AF2)
Lagi seorang produk AF yang masih bertahan. Adam bertahan kerana KRU menghasilkan lagu yang sedap-sedap untuk beliau. Lagu ini meskipun nampak mudah sebenarnya ia tidak mudah untuk dinyanyikan. Tapi 'chorus' lagu ini memang menangkap habis !!!
04. Situasi (Bunkface)
Kenangan untuk lagu ini adalah apabila 'anak-anak murid Program BAKTI' saya di SKBP meminta kami para facilitator untuk bersama-sama menyanyikan lagu ini untuk program mereka. Sesungguhnya budak-budak Darjah 5 inilah yang mengenalkan saya dengan lagu yang hebat ini. Untuk Bunkface; semoga dapat menjuarai Anugerah Juara Lagu pada 10 Januari 2010 nanti
05. Takdir Cinta Kita (Iqwal)
Oh Iwal... Lagu ini memang best. Meskipun masih belum betul-betul popular di corong-corong radio dan video klipnya pun belum ada. Saya memang suka gilerk dengan lagu yang amat santai ini. Suara Iwal pun ngan habis dengan lagu ini. Tidak syak lagi untuk menobatkan lagu ini di tempat ke-5. Menjadikan lebih indah lagi saya pun sudah bertemu dengan pencipta lagu ini. Semoga Iwal sukses dengan lagu ini untuk tahun 2010 !!!
06. Entah (Afgan)
Apa lagi yang perlu di katakan dengan penyanyi dari seberang ini. Afgan memang boleh di nobatkan sebagai Raja Balada sedikit masa lagi. Terima Kasi Cinta memang BEST, Tapi Entah SUPERB !!! Meskipun sesekali mendengar lagu ini tetapi ia adalah satu contoh kepada lagu yang akan kekal lama dalam kehidupan. Tahniah Afgan !!!
07. P.U.S.P.A. (ST12)
P.U.S.P.A. adalah lagu berhantu. Itu saja yang boleh saya katakan. Memang banyak sekali band free pop dari tanah seberang tetapi band yang ada ciri melayu setakat ini cuma ada 2. Salah satunya ialah ST12. Jika kita mendapatkan CD ST12, hampir semua lagunya amat-amat-amat menarik !!!
08. Slot Akasia (TFC)
Istimewanya lagu ini kerana ia bukan lagu cinta. Bukan juga lagu tema. Lagu ini menceritakan tentang apa yang di paparkan di dalam drama-drama di dalam Slot Akasia di TV3. Dengan lirik yang separa putis dan melodi yang menangkap ia layak diletakkan di No. 8 !!!
09. Ketika Cinta (Dato' Siti Nurhaliza)
Ini adalah contoh sebuah lagu serumpun. Penyanyi dari Malaysia tetapi penciptanya dari Indonesia, Opick. Lagu ini menjadi lagu tema Filem Perempuan Berkalong Sorban. Dengarnya lagu ini pernah ditolak untuk dijadikan lagu tema filem Ketika Cinta Bertasbih. Meskipun lagu ini tidak begitu di kenali di sini tetapi ia tetap menawan hati saya.
10. Hampa (Ungu)
Senang cerita, lagu ini telah menyebabkan saya menoleh ke belakang lantas memulakan projek untuk mengumpul kembali album-album lama Ungu. Mengintai kembali kepada Kekasih Gelap !!! Seakan saya sedari pula suara Pasha tidak kurang hebatnya !!! Untuk Hampa gabungan lagu pop, dangdut & rap ini memang menjadi.
11. Cinta Terakhir (Aiman AN1)
Tahniah Aiman. Lagu ini pasti akan menjadi pembuka jalan... Tambah-tambah lagi sekarang ini lagu ini menjadi tema drama Aliff Firdaus.
12. Jelita (Damian Mikhail)
14 Februari 2009 adalah hari lahirnya lagu ini. Saya juga ada semasa perlancaran Single Damian ini. Bila Damian dah mula nyanyi secara solo makin terserlah kehebatan suara damian yang sedap itu. Lagu ini BEST sebab ia ala-ala jiwang tetapi 'up-beat' juga. Sebagai penerbit, Damian memang bijak melahirkan lagu yang ngan habis dengan suara beliau. Hello Bro... Bila full album nak keluar ni?
13. Tinggal Kenangan (Saleem)
Beri saja lagu apa pada Abang Saleem. Pasti akan berada di liga yang tersendiri apabila di bawa dengan gaya beliau. Suara Saleem adalah satu dalam seribu dan saya minati suara Saleem sejak Suci Dalam Debu lagi. Lagu ini yang originalnya di nyanyikan oleh penyanyi yang telah membunuh diri memang sesuai benar dan lebih indah di bawa Saleem.
14. Cari Jodoh (Wali Band)
Lucu. Kemelayuan. Enak di dengar. Elemen ini sungguh mempersonakan. Pertama kasi saya dengar lagu ini di Central Market ketika menempah t-shirt night @ the mueseum. Adik yang memasang lagu ini terus berikan saya mp3 nya. Hahaha...
15. Cinta Adam dan Hawa (Misha Omar)
Satu-satunya lagu dari angkatan senior yang berjaya meloloskan diri dalam AJL 10/01/2010 ini.

Jom Heboh Takdir Cinta Budak Metro
Ini merupakan kali kedua saya singgah di Booth Harian Metro sempena Karnival Jom Heboh TV3 untuk bertemu dan menikmati persembahan Iqwal Budak metro WCOPA !!! Kali pertama dahulu semasa Karnival Jom Heboh menjengah Danga Bay, Johor Bahru. Dan kali ini sempatlah saya untuk menjadi model muka depan Harian Metro bersama Iwal. (Ini bukan typo error, memang saya sukan panggil Iqwal dengan nama Iwal sahaja)
Suara Iqwal memang sedap di dengar... Salah, bukan sahaja sedap di dengar tetapi Iqwal juga bijak memilih lagu yang sesuai dengan suara dan gaya beliau. Petang tadi saya sempat mendengar Iqwal mendendangkan lagu Sampai Syurga (Faizal Tahir - FT). Bila dengar Iqwal menyampaikan lagu ini... Ternyata ia seperti milik Iqwal kerana Iqwal menyanyi mengikut acuan sendiri dan bukan meniru gaya FT. Sementara lagu kedua yang sempat saya ikuti ialah Takdir Cinta Kita (TCK) yang sebenarnya lagu kegemaran saya di dalam album pertama Iqwal !!! YES.. TCK memang begitu menyentuh jiwa, masakan tidak lagu ini menduduki tangga ke 5 di Carta JaseBoard Hits Countdown 2009 (Malay)
Mungkin tuah saya juga hari ini kerana akhirnya berjaya bertemu dengan Jebart. Siapa Jeabart? Jebat sebenarnya adalah pencipta lagu TCK yang mendayu-dayu itu. Saya amat berharap agar lagu ini dapat di calonkan unutk MuzikMuzik25 tahun hadapan. Tetapi yang lebih penting saya juga amat berharap agar Iqwal dapat di calonkan untuk beebrapa katgegori di AIM 2010 nanti. Untuk ABP, rasaya Iqwal telahpun mendapat pencalonan awal untuk kategori Penyanyi Lelaki Porpular. Semoga tersangkut untuk Top 5 kelak. Nota Jase : I Want To Know What Love Is has always been one of my timeless favourite song since 1984. Yes... When, I was still schooling. Never come accross my mind that one day Mariah Carey will do her own rendetion of this such a beautiful song. YES... both version are equally great (one slow rock, the later is pop r&b ballad). After 25 years, this song is still fresh. After 25 years it still can be one of the most beautiful love anthem. I am still waiting for the official video clip to hit the MTV. JASEBOARD MALAY HOT 25 FOR THE YEAR OF 2008
01. BAWA KU TERBANG (THE FABULOUS CATS)
Saya tak tahu cita rasa orang lain tetapi bagi saya inilah 'Song of The Year' bagi Lagu Melayu untuk tahun 2008. Paduan suara 3 orang untuk lagu ini; nyanyian & rap memang 'ngam habis'. Cat Farish, tonggak utama TFC memang bijak melahirkan lagu-lagu catchy semenjak RuffEdge lagi. Di tambah pula dengan suara Adeep yang merdu. This song is so, so REAL !!!
02. HANYA KAU YANG MAMPU (AIZAT AF5)
Ini adalah bukti kepada sikap tidak prejudis dan keterbukaan saya. Terus terang saya katakan saya memang tidak menggemari Aizat. Tetapi lagu ciptaan ahli kumpulan Kerispatih ini memang hebat dan berhantu. Lagu cintan cintun ini memang terasa keindonesiaannya tetapi memang layak dinobatkan di tempat kedua.
03. BILA NAK SAKSI (SPIDER)
Sekali sekala memang Spider mampu melahirkan lagu balada yang tangkap syahdu. Ini buktinya. Lirik ciptaan Allahyarham Loloq ini nampak bersahaja tetapi amat mendalam sekali maksudnya. Boleh jadi lagu tema cinta.
04. PAGI YANG GELAP (HUJAN)
Ramai yang mengatakan lagu ini ntah apa-apa. Liriknya ntah apa-apa. Tetapi melodinya cukup santai yang menyebabkan bila kita mendengarnya tidak akan merasa jemu.... "Pagi yang gelap, kini sudah terang, aku adikmu dan engkau abang...." Apa yang hendak cuba disampaikaan oleh Hujan?
05. SAKSI (RABBANI & MAWI AF3)
Satu-satunya lagu Nasyid yang berjaya menambat jiwa saya untuk tahun 2008 ini. Lagu ini ada unsur-unsur Aduh Saliha terutamanya di bahagian Mawi sahut-menyahut dengan Ustaz Asri. Bukan sahaja melodinya catchy tetapi ia juga sebuah lagu yang berkualiti jika tidak masakan dinobatkan sebagai Juara NMI TV1 lewat tahun 2008.
06. CHANTEK (ALTIMET FEAT ADEEB OF FABULOUS CATS)
Ini juga lagu Indon. Cuma dahulu ia sebuah lagu R&B perlahan. Kini telah urbankan lagi dengan tambahan Rap oleh Altimet. Bila part nyanyi di beri pada Adeeb. Tidak syak lagi ia sebuah kolaborasi yang hebat dan memberangsangkan. Mudah sahaja lagu ini cantik secantik judulnya.
07. KU MERINDU (SHAH FEAT MAN KIDAL & ELLA)
Kalau orang tanya saya saya akan kata ini lagu syok sendiri. Ye lah... Shah yang banyak duit, laburkan duit untuk buat album dengan mengundang pemuzik dan penyanyi hebat untuk menjayakan album beliau. Sesungguhnya lagu ini menjadi amat menarik kerana digandingkan dengan Ella. YES... this song is a very Ella. Soalan saya... bila Ellah nak lahirkan album baru?
08. TANPA (SIXTH SENSE)
Pertama kali saya mendengar lagu ini semasa melayari blog Hidayat. Tak sangka pula melekat di jiwa saya. Tetapi saya agak kecewa kerana bila dengar live semasa Semi Final MuzikMuzik tempoh hari kerana nyanyian Adi tidak mencapai tahap piawai saya. Meskipun begitu saya tetap suka akan hasil kreatif lagu ini.
09. TRILOGI CINTA (SALEEM)
Lagu Penjara. Lagu Penyesalan. Lagu Syahdu. Dengan suara serak-serak basah Saleem, lagu ini menjadi lebih merdu. Pencipta lagu ini masih samar. Saya yang telah lama meminati suara Saleem memang tidak teragak-agak lagi memiliki CD beliau yang mengandungi lagu ini.Bila lagi Saleem nak keluarkan CD yang memiliki semua lagu baru?
10. JANGAN BILANG TIDAK (RAFFI AHMAD & AYUSINTA)
Saya namakan ini Lagu Korea. Terima Kasih kepada Arnie yang meperkenalkan saya dengan lagu ini ketika Trip ke Korea tempoh hari. Yang menariknya kedua-kedua penyanyi lagu ini adalah pelakon. Itulah yang dikatakan Bukan Bintang Biasa.
11. ADA UNTUKMU (NUBHAN AF6)
Lagu Taj Mahal. Ramai yang meminati lagu ini termasuk saya. Suara Nubby seperti mendayu dayu denga penuh kesedihan dan kepayahan. Itulah kelebihan Nubby.
12. DIBIUS CINTA (MELLY GOESLOW & YUSRY KRU)
Saya seperti dibius ketika pertama kali mendengar lagu ini di corong radio satu ketika dahulu. Macam tak percaya sahaja Yusry boleh berduet dengan Melly. Dan Melly seperti selalu akan melahirkan lagu cinta sentimental yang amat menggetar jiwa. Kalau menonton Cicak Man : Planet Hitam pasti akan faham kenapa tajuknya Dibius...

Saya tak tahu cita rasa orang lain tetapi bagi saya inilah 'Song of The Year' bagi Lagu Melayu untuk tahun 2008. Paduan suara 3 orang untuk lagu ini; nyanyian & rap memang 'ngam habis'. Cat Farish, tonggak utama TFC memang bijak melahirkan lagu-lagu catchy semenjak RuffEdge lagi. Di tambah pula dengan suara Adeep yang merdu. This song is so, so REAL !!!
02. HANYA KAU YANG MAMPU (AIZAT AF5)
Ini adalah bukti kepada sikap tidak prejudis dan keterbukaan saya. Terus terang saya katakan saya memang tidak menggemari Aizat. Tetapi lagu ciptaan ahli kumpulan Kerispatih ini memang hebat dan berhantu. Lagu cintan cintun ini memang terasa keindonesiaannya tetapi memang layak dinobatkan di tempat kedua.
03. BILA NAK SAKSI (SPIDER)
Sekali sekala memang Spider mampu melahirkan lagu balada yang tangkap syahdu. Ini buktinya. Lirik ciptaan Allahyarham Loloq ini nampak bersahaja tetapi amat mendalam sekali maksudnya. Boleh jadi lagu tema cinta.
