Review Roundup: Chris Brown – ‘F.A.M.E.’

The last two years have been anything but breezy for Chris Brown as he worked to repair his tarnished image and regain his following. After 2009’s underwhelming Graffiti, the R&B star bounced back to the top last summer with singles “Deuces” and “No BS.” Now he faces his critics once again with his fourth album F.A.M.E. (Forgiving All My Enemies), available now. Did they raise him up or tear him down? Find out below.
USA Today: But it is a more mature, confident, and adventurous Brown who has emerged in the wake of all the drama, and he has delivered the strongest album of his career. He’s much edgier than before, which is a good thing, since the 22-year-old has clearly outgrown that nice-kid-next-door persona he had six years ago. 3 out of 4
Rolling Stone: F.A.M.E. is a pop ‘n’ b album with something for everyone: bedroom ballads, dance-floor thumpers and even “Next 2 You,” a puppy-love declaration with guest vocals by Justin Bieber. 3 out of 5
Entertainment Weekly: Graffiti clearly came too soon. And some still think Brown should go—and stay—away. But on its own merits, F.A.M.E. deserves to be heard. B+
The New York Times: This album’s highlight is “Look at Me Now,” a fabulous, insidiously catchy production by Diplo and Afrojack on which Mr. Brown double-time-raps about stealing girlfriends. At least here Mr. Brown is clever, funny, and pushing himself technically.
The Boston Globe: Only a handful of tracks truly showcase Brown’s strengths. “She Ain’t You” derives much of its charm from a hefty sample of Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature.” It is totally shameless and completely effective.
The Associated Press: Even on smooth grooves that aren’t sexually charged, Brown sounds top-notch. “Deuces,” a No. 1 R&B hit, was one of last year’s best songs, and like it, “Up to You” is destined to hit the top spot—and it deserves to be.
The Guardian: This record’s syrupy mid-section makes good on his desire to write “songs that your grandma can love,” while Justin Bieber duet “Next to You” will appeal only to your tweenie sister.
Rap-Up’s Favorite Tracks: “Look at Me Now,” “She Ain’t You,” “Yeah 3X,” “Paper, Scissors, Rock”

CB's Strike Back with Yeah 3X
But following the success of number one single 'Deuces' from his forthcoming album F.A.M.E, Yesterday, 22 October 2010 he released the video of new song 'Yeah 3X'.
The singer shows off his signature dance moves along with his usual catchy beats and charming smile. At one point he's seen running after a beautiful woman in the video and in another scene he dances shirtless, with just a jacket on to show off his toned chest.
'Thank you GOD for allowing me to inspire the world with the abilities you have given!!!' CB wrote on Twitter.
'And thanks for my wonderful fans. Thanks for allowing me to share this with you. It’s my ART. If your world is gloomy, there are only two things to do… DREAM and DANCE!!'
CB also has a tattoo under his left arm and reads 'FAME' - the same as his new album name. It stands for 'Forgive All My Enemies'.
Deuces marked his first real musical success since his arrest in February 2009. His third album, Graffiti, was released in December 2009 and was his lowest selling CD to date. But now it looks like people are willing to forget the past buy his music again.
CB tweeted last month: '#1 single in the country and the #1 movie in the country. Life has turned around for me. I couldn't be more happier. Thanks to the fans.' Lets us go and watch TAKERS by the end of the month !!! TAKERS open in Malaysia's Silver Screen on 28 October 2010.

Community Labour: Chris Brown shovels rocks in Virginia as part of his sentence for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna last year.

Dueces (Chris Brown feat Tyga & Kevin McCall)
DUECES
All that bullshit is for the birds
You aint nothin but a vulture
Always hopin for the worst
Waiting for me to fuck up up
You'll regret the day when I find another girl, yeah
Who knows just what I need, she knows just what I mean
When I tell her keep it drama free
Ohohohohohohohoh... x2
I told you that I'm leaving (deuces)
I know you mad but so what?
I wish you best of luck
And now I'm bout to throw them deuces up
[Chorus]
I'm on some new shit
I'm chuckin my deuces up to her
I'm moving on to something better, better, better
No more tryin to make it work
You made me wanna say bye bye, say bye bye, say bye bye to her [x2]
[Tyga Verse]
Uh, Use to be valentines
Together all the time
Thought it was true love, but you know women lie
It's like I sent my love with a text two times
Call cause I care but I aint get no reply
Tryna see eye to eye but it's like we both blind
Fuck it lets hit the club, I rarely sip but pour me some
Cause when it's all said and done,
I aint gon be the one that she can always run to
I hate liars, fuck love I'm tired of tryin
My heart big but it beat quiet
I don't never feel like we vibin
Cause every time we alone it's a awkward silence
So leave your keys on the kitchen counter
And gimme back that ruby ring with the big diamond
Shit is over, whatchu trippin for?
I don't wanna have to let you go
But baby I think it's better if I let you know
[Chorus]
I'm on some new shit
I'm chuckin my deuces up to her
I'm moving on to something better, better, better
No more tryin to make it work
You made me wanna say bye bye, say bye bye, say bye bye to her [x2]
[K Mc verse]
Look, my shorty always on some bullshit like Chicago
So I flip that middle finger and the index finger follow
Deuces, we aint got no future in tomorrow
I'm a dick, so it shouldn't be that hard to swallow
The other chick I'm with never complainin'
She make wanna leave the one I'm with Usher Raymond
Probably didn't register, don't trip, later on it will
Shorty full of drama like gangsta grizzles
I finally noticed it, it finally hit me
Like Tina did Ike in the limo, it finally hit me
I got a new chick, and she aint you
She paula patton thick She give me dj vu
And all that attitude, I don't care bout it
But all that shit I do for her, you gon hear bout it
Breezy rep two up, two down
But I'm just puttin two up, chuckin up the deuce now
[Chorus]
I'm on some new shit
I'm chuckin my deuces up to her
I'm moving on to something better, better, better
No more tryin to make it work
You made me wanna say bye bye, say bye bye, say bye bye to her [x2]
Nota Jase :
If you don't know - DEUCES is a slang word for the PEACE sign (you know, the 2 finger peace out sign). This song and this video is really FIRE, the beat is so damn HOT! (On the other hand - the first seconds of the melody sounds like in Te Amo by Rihanna). What about the dance? I LOOVEEEE when Chris does his dance move. It seems that he tells a story every time he make the moves. He's amazing and truly talented. In short "CB breezy back doing his thing and I'm so lovin it..." GALAXIE... after Ush why not get CB to Malaysia? That would be really COOL !!!

Is This The Most Personal Song by CB?

Everybody sees it’s you.
I’m the one that lost the view.
Everybody says we’re through.
I hope you haven’t said it too.
So where do we go from here,
With all this fear in our eyes?
And, where can love take us now?
We’ve been so far down.
We can still touch the sky.
If we crawl
‘til we can walk again
Then we’ll run
Until we’re strong enough to jump.
Then we’ll fly
Until there is no end.
So let’s crawl, crawl, crawl
Back to love.
Yeah, back to love, yeah.
Why did I change the pace?
Hearts were never meant to race.
Always felt the need for space.
And now I can’t reach your face.
So where are you standing now?
Are you in the crowd of my faults?
Love, can’t you see my hand?
I need one more chance.
We can still have it all.
So we’ll crawl
‘til we can walk again.
Then we’ll run
Until we’re strong enough to jump.
Then we’ll fly
Until there is no end
So let’s crawl, crawl, crawl
Back to love.
Yeah, back to love, yeah.
Everybody sees it’s you.
Well I never wanna lose that view.
So we’ll crawl
‘til we can walk again.
Then we’ll run
Until we’re strong enough to jump.
Then we’ll fly
Until there is no end.
So let’s crawl, crawl, crawl.
So we’ll crawl
‘til we can walk again.
Then we’ll run
Until we’re strong enough to jump.
Then we’ll fly
Until there is no end.
So let’s crawl, let’s crawl, let’s crawl
Back to love.
Note : "Crawl" is the second single off Chris Brown's upcoming third album Graffiti. The single has been confirmed by Chris Brown saying that it would be released on November 13, 2009. The song was co-written by Nasri, Adam Messinger, and Luke James, and was produced by The Messengers.
The melancholy "Crawl" features Brown pensively singing about a relationship that has slipped out of his hands; lyrical parallels to his situation with Rihanna are inevitable. The two briefly reunited after their much-publicized February altercation, however, following ongoing court hearings and stay-away orders, the pair has split. "When I heard the whole concept and everything I was like, 'Yo, this is crazy," Brown said about the track. He also said that it could be the best record he's ever done.
"Everybody sees it's you/ I'm the one that lost the view ," Brown sings. "Everybody says we're through/ I hope you haven't said it, too."
The music video was directed by Joseph Kahn, who also worked with Brown on the I Can Transform Ya and Forever videos. The parallel to his own shattered relationship with Rihanna is hard to dismiss, and as the director of the "Crawl" video, Joseph Kahn, said, "It's probably his most personal thing he's ever done". He also predicted the visuals to "Crawl" will make as much of an impact as the song. But Brown told MTV News that the song actually isn't just about his own relationships. He said "Crawl" is more of a universal message dedicated to moving on past any type of heartache. The video for "Crawl" features R&B artist and model Cassie. The video premiered on the Wendy Williams Show on Friday, November 13, 2009.
At the beginning of the video, we see Brown sitting on his bed with his heart being seen through his shirt as he starts to sing the first verse. The scene then changes to the street where we see load of paparazzi taking photos of Cassie and Chris standing there hoping she will notice him, but she does not so Chris walks away. The scene changes and Cassie walks into a shop where Chris is standing but he walks out singing which gets Cassie's attention. Then they are both seen walking towards each other where they meet in the middle.

I Can Transform Ya The Video - Chris Brown feat Lil Way & Swizz Beatz
"The Premier"
"The Official Video"
I Can Transform Ya - The Lyrics
[Lil Wayne]
Go hey Lil Mama,
I can transform ya,
No I can't dance, but I can dance on ya,
Swizz on the beat, Chris move ya feet,
And baby I can transform your him to a me,
I can change your life, make it so new,
Make you never want to go back to the old you,
Ciroc and lime, give it a lil time,
And she can transform like Optimus Prime
[Chris Brown]
Need a ride,
I can range you up,
Money, I can change you up,
You can ride your own,
No longer be the passenger,
Swag low, I build you up,
Knees, we can stand you up,
Red lips, red dress, like 'em like a fire truck,
[Chorus]
What you need, you can have that,
My black card, they don't decline that,
See potential in ya, let me mould that,
I can transform ya, I can transform ya,
I can transform ya, I can transform ya,
Anything ya want, I can (I can) get it for ya,
You're my baby girl,
Shoulda known I did it for ya,
I can trans, I can trans, I can transform ya,
Shoes - you got it (got it)
Bags - you got it (got it),
Cars - you got it (got it),
Money - still got it (got it),
I can transform ya, I can transform ya,
Anything you want I can (I can) get it for ya,
[Chris Brown]
See me in the video, you can have it really though,
Iced out everything, break you like an eskimo,
Wanna fly, we can go, anywhere you wanna go,
Jimmy Choos in Italy, Louis V in Tokyo,
Something like Pinnochio,
If you lie down, I'ma grow,
Wanna see me do it big,
I can show you how it goes,
Take you from an amateur to being professional,
I can have you swag surfing
[Chorus]
What you need, you can have that,
My black card, they don't decline that,
See potential in ya, let me mould that,
I can transform ya, I can transform ya,
I can transform ya, I can transform ya,
Anything ya want, I can (I can) get it for ya,
You're my baby girl,
Shoulda known I did it for ya,
I can trans, I can trans, I can transform ya,
Shoes - you got it (got it)
Bags - you got it (got it),
Cars - you got it (got it),
Money - still got it (got it),
I can transform ya, I can transform ya,
Anything you want I can (I can) get it for ya,
[Lil Wayne]
Alright,
I can transform ya, like a transformer,
I can turn you from a human to a Carter,
Take you off the bench, t-turn ya to a starter,
Then take you home and put you on a charger,
Then my car transforms to a charter,
And we can fly to wherever you ever thought of,
I take you to where its warmer,
Then i gotta rip off your dress like a warm up,
But I'm just getting warmed up,
So tell your man he better get his Voltron up,
I transform her to a Ducati,
And then I transform me to a Bugatti,
'Cause her form puts me in a trance,
I transform smaller and she puts me in her pants,
Swizz on the Beat, Chris move ya feet,
And Weezy transform a good girl to a freak,
[Chorus]
What you need, you can have that,
My black card, they don't decline that,
See potential in ya, let me mould that,
I can transform ya, I can transform ya,
I can transform ya, I can transform ya,
Anything ya want, I can (I can) get it for ya,
You're my baby girl,
Shoulda known I did it for ya,
I can trans, I can trans, I can transform ya,
Shoes - you got it (got it)
Bags - you got it (got it),
Cars - you got it (got it),
Money - still got it (got it),
I can transform ya, I can transform ya,
Anything you want I can (I can) get it for ya,

Drop It Low The Video - Easter Dean feat Chris Brown
Five talented young basketball players from Akron, Ohio star in this remarkable true-life coming of age story about friendship and loyalty in the face of great adversity. Coached by a charismatic but inexperienced player’s father, and led by future NBA superstar LeBron James, the “Fab Five’s” improbable seven-year journey leads them from a decrepit inner-city gym to the doorstep of a national high school championship. Along the way, the close-knit team is repeatedly tested-both on and off the court-as James’ exploding worldwide celebrity threatens to destroy everything they’ve set out to achieve together. More Than A Game combines a series of unforgettable one-on-one interviews with rare news footage, never-before-seen home videos, and personal family photographs to bring this heart-wrenching and wholly American story to life.
More Than a Game opens in movie theaters October 2, 2009 (In the USA). Malaysia? I don't think so...

Corat Coret "Better on The Other Side"
Saya sebenarnya sedang menonton VCD Muzik Video Wacko Jacko.
Di kaca TV sekarang tengah video Blood On The Dance Floor !!! "Better on the Other Side".
Saya telah menonton Setem sejurus selesai menonton FFM 22 Sabtu lepas. Ia memang filem yang amat bagus. Kelakar & tidak memperbodohkan penonton. Lawak yang amat segar. Sisi Khabir Bhatia yang agak berbeza. Sokonglah Filem Malaysia.
24-7 pulak tu? Tapi kalau betul-betul ingin mengabadikan sumbangan dan kehebatan beliau kenapa asyik ulang tayang Mukhsin & Sepet dan "the making of talentime" sahaja?
Aahhh... They Don't Care About Us di bikin di Brazil. Lirik lagu ini mengundang kontroversi (anti Yahudi) satu ketika dahulu... antaranya.. (lihat baris yang saya gelapkan)
"Beat me, hate me
You can never break me
Will me, thrill me
You can never kill me
Jew me, sue me
Everybody do me
Kick me, kike me
Don't you black or white me"
Antaranya McDonalds, Coca Cola, Arsenal, Jonhson&Johnson, CNN, Levi's, Tommy Hilfiger, Starbuck, Marks & Spencer & Disney. Ayuh, ikut bersama saya.
