If You Ever Love Somebody... Put Your Hands Up !!!

Grammy-winning, multi-Platinum hip-hop superstar Nelly makes a powerful return to the Billboard charts as his new single, Just A Dream debuted at # 8 on the Digital Songs chart and at No. 12 on the Hot 100 Chart with 135,000 copies sold (Just A Dream is currently at No. 8 on the Hot 100 Chart for week ending 2/10/2010). This marks his first Top 10 hit since Grillz topped the Hot 100 chart in early 2006.

Produced by Jim Jonsin and Rico Love, Just a dream is one of two new lead singles—including the infectious club jam Tippin’ in da club produced by Dutch and Juke Box and to be released from Nelly’s highly-anticipated sixth album, 5.0, on Universal Motown on November 16.

5.0 is the eagerly-awaited follow-up to the singer’s gold-certified 2008 album, Brass Knuckles, which debuted at # 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. The new album marks a solid return to form for the St. Louis native.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Nelly’s explosive debut with his groundbreaking first album, Country Grammar, which sold an astonishing 250,000 copies in its first week of release, spent seven weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart, and sold more than 9 million copies. With Just a dream and Tippin’ in da club heating up the airwaves at Top 40 and Urban Radio, respectively, Nelly is poised to celebrate this milestone in his extraordinary career by enjoying another banner year of success.
