Sudah begitu lama sebenarnya saya tidak menulis puisi. Ruang masa di antara sebenarnya tidak mengizinkan untuk saya berkreatif. Pena seakan tumpul. Minda seakan berkarat. Tapi saya gagahi juga untuk menulis untuk merakamkan rasa kebertuahan diri ini menjadi warga Malaysia setelah 51 tahun Merdeka. Dari warisan perjuangan nenek moyang terdahulu, akan saya suburkan tanah ini dengan matlamat yang jitu.
