I'm Standing In The Eyes of ELLA

The CD above is very valuable to me. Not just because Ella's signature on it after 11 years (I met Ella just now @ Laman Santai just after her short performance of 3 songs due to limited of time). YES !!!.. This CD was released in 1998, it is a collectors item actually and very rare for people who still keep this. It was dedicated to the 16th Commonwealth Games in 1998 which held for the very first time in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Song "Standing In The Eyes of the World" (one of my everlasting favaurite) is written by Wah Idris (now Datuk) and David Gates (of the Group Bread in the 1970s). The Malay lyrics is written by Habsah Hassan (the English version is off course by David Gates). The Song "Standing In The Eyes of the World" is a very postive song that should be listened us when we are 'down' or 'demotivated'. We do not have much song with such a positive tone nowadays. So... keep Listening to this song and kee moving !!!

Ini adalah beberapa shot yang sempat saya ambil dari persembahan Ella di Laman Santai sebentar tadi. Muncul sebagai Penyanyi terakhir (selepas Mawi) yang membuat persembahan sebenarnya 'memudaratkan' Ella terutama apabila 'show over run'. Kesian Ella, kesian peminat Ella lebih lagi tentunya tidak puas untuk melepaskan rindu setelah persembahan terakhir beliau di khalayak ramai semasa Konsert Power Shot tempot hari rasanya. Ella sempat menyampaikan 3 lagu iaitu Sepi Sekuntum Mawar Merah, Puisi Hamba & Layar Impian. Pakaian Ella malam ini pula seperti mereka yang hendak keluar berjogging... tetapi terasa lebih dekat dengan peminat nampaknya. Tetapi yang paling nyata ialah biar apa pun orang kata... Ella memang masih memiliki STAR POWER yang amat UTUH. Tahniah... !!! Saya pun salah seorang peminat Ella juga...:)
